The NEC classic car show is coming up in November and promises no shortage of kit car content. We’ll be there. Will you?
Why should I be there? You only need to look at these photos from last year’s Classic Motor Show at the NEC to appreciate that there’s plenty to keep the kit car enthusiast happy – self-built cars are welcomed into this headline classic car event.
The annual classic car mecca hosts around 3000 cars from 120 years of motoring, with appearances from the 289 Register, Midas Owners’ Club, Ginetta Owners’ Club and many more. You can usually find several kit car manufacturers on show too, with AK Sportscars, Total Headturners, Suffolk Sportscars and Great British Sports Cars all on display at last year’s show.
Club stands form a huge part of the show, but that’s not all there is to it. The Discovery Live Stage will host Q&A sessions with stars of classic car television programmes and live workshop features, while the Lancaster Pride of Ownership and cars for sale displays promise to be major draws, too.
In addition, the huge trade stand area will tempt you with all manner of offerings, and you’ll find Complete Kit Car magazine on stand 4-401.
Tickets can be purchased on the door, but you’ll save money by buying them in advance (please quote CMS19CKC2) or buying multi-day packages. See you there?
